What is a sidecar motorcycle?

Sometimes as reffered to as a outfit, rig or hack, a sidecar is a one wheeled device attached to the side of a motorcycle to make it a three wheeled vehicle.

How many passengers can ride?

Our sidecar motorcycle can accomodate 2 passagers. One in the sidecar and one behind the driver. There is also plenty of space for your personal belongings such as bagpacks, extra clothing, cameras…

When are your tours available?

Usually from the beginning of May until the end of October. Depending on the weather, the season can start earlier and end a little later.

What form of payments do you accept?

We accept major credit cards, cash and paypal.

Is there a minimum age to ride?

Unfortunatly yes, Quebec laws allows kids over 9 years old or 145 cm and above to ride in a sidecar.

Do I have to wear a helmet?

Oh yes you do, it’s the law and your security is our priority. We will be pleased to provide you a helmet. We make sure to clean them between each use. Different sizes are available and they are equipped with a communication system.

What should I wear?

We recommend wearing long layers and closed toe shoes especially if riding behing the driver. Dress accordingly to the weather, it is a good idea to bring an extra sweather or jacket. A blanket is available for the passenger sitting in the sidecar.

Do I need insurance?

Not at all, Montréal on the side got you covered! We are very proud to be the very first business in Quebec to have a obtained a commercial insurance for motorcycles.

Can I drive?

Unfortunatly no, you wouldn’t be covered by our insurance. Instead sit back, relax and enjoy the view.

What happens if it rains?

The ride can still take place under a light rain. We will provide you a rain puncho. However in case of heavy rain or thunderstorm, you can either reschedule or get a full reimbursement.

Can my pet ride in the sidecar?

Of course, will love pets. Make sure they wear a well adjusted harness that we will attached to the sidecar.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you have a reservation, we require a minimum 24 hours’ notice to get a full reimbursement. Less than 24 hours we will reimburse 50% of the total amount.
